Have you ever needed a cute little something to drop off on someone's doorstep but ran out of ideas after cookies, brownies, and cupcakes?! Then I have the perfect gift for you!
Some friends of mine were running in the Phoenix Marathon a few weeks back and I wanted to do something fun to encourage them. But it doesn't always make sense to drop off cookies to someone that's worked months to train for their race they're competing in the very next day... so I got a little creative! Cause everyone loves a cute little succulent, right?!
Enter: Printable Succulent + Cacti Plant Pokes with Cards!
These printables work great as gift tags, but they're even better as Plant Pokes! And I've made them with several phrases + cards so you can use them for lots of different things... neighbor gifts, I-care-about-you-BFF gifts, good-luck-on-that-thing-you've-been-working-on gifts, and last (but certainly not least), teacher gifts!
Plant Poke Tag Phrases:
- "You Grow Girl!"
- "Thank you for helping me Grow!"
- "Say Aloe to my Little Friend"
- "Thank you!"
... and for the Cards:
- Good Luck!
- You're Great!
- Thank You!
- Hey, You!
Adorable, right?! Not only are these gifts thoughtful, unique, and fun... they're also super easy to put together!
Here's what you'll need:
- Succulent, cacti, aloe plant... you get the idea! ;)
- Extra long toothpicks or other skewer/stick
- Tape
- FREE Printable Plant Pokes (+ cards!)
To make your adorable plant pokes, you'll start by printing the pages you'll be using onto a heavy-weight paper like card stock. You can do this at home or at your local printer.
Next, cut out the circles you'll be needing for your gifts, leaving a thin white border around each one.
Attach the toothpick to the back of the circle using tape (I used washi tape) and stick it in your plant! Voila! Plant pokes. (See... even a kid can do it!)
If you'd like to include a card, just cut that out using the light grey scoring lines as your guide, then fold it in half hamburger style. ;) There you have it. The cutest, EASIEST gift ever!
